I have been busy painting. Every day I manage to make myself laugh painting cartoons of dogs and their adventures. I am getting better all the time, and I am proud of that! What I am not proud of is the work I have put out before! I realize that you have to start somewhere, and you learn more and more the more you do! I can’t look at the first two books because the next two are heads and shoulders above those! It’s getting people to believe that you have improved!! I don’t want my readers to feel duped by the first two! I asked my friend who is a “real artist” if she feels the same way about her stuff and she says she can’t look at anything she has done before!! I suppose that is the way we evolve! I am just going to ask my readers, and those who have taken a chance on my kids’ books to trust me on this! The next one will be out soon, and it is way more fun, written better and I am actually proud of it!! I am going to continue to improve and I appreciate the support!

On another note, I got my first piece of negativity on my blog!! Some one called “Bubba” called me a moron!! I am dying! I guess that if that’s the worst thing I get, I am pretty lucky. Bubba couldn’t even type his email address correctly so I could answer him, so I did it on my page!! Not a bad run for over 150 blog posts!! Thank you, Bubba, for being my number 1~! Kiss my ass!

This weather can also kiss my ass. It was 87 degrees, and I took an amazing bike ride and two days later it is snowing when I woke up. Have I mentioned how I hate it here? I won’t even go into the headlines, because it seems that I am living one Onion Headline after the next… um…yeah.
