Spring Equinox

I would give you a green leaf
To remind you that winter
doesn’t last forever.

I would give you a seashell
to carry in your pocket
To remind you that salt water
heals your soul.

I would give you a rock
To remind you that you
are solid and strong.

I would remind to sit
in the quiet
and hear your own heart.

I would whisper “i love you”
from a thousand
universes

to remind you
to hang on.

I will light the fire
and wait for you
To come get warm.
